| Target Background | Monkeypox virus (MPXV) is double-stranded DNA virus belonging to the genus orthopoxvirus that causes a smallpox-like disease in humans. A30L is an envelope protein required for the fusion of virus and host cell to form syncytia, and is also considered to be an important target in MPXV research. |
| Synonyms | Envelope protein A28 homolog; Protein A30; A30L; A30 |
