Structure biology is a valuable field of study to understand molecules and biological processes at the level of 3-dimensional structures. Especially in the field of proteomics and its relationship with structure based drug design, there is an increasing need to find solutions to some of the challenges faced by structural biologists. GenScript has developed its advanced purification platform to provide protein samples of "crystallographic grade" purity. The purity of final products is greater than 95% and can be directly used for crystallization and other high quality assays. Our extensive experience in crystallization screening and crystallization condition optimization ensures the best quality protein crystals for structure-based research. All crystal structures at GenScript are determined with data sets collected using synchrotron light sources. We have developed in-house, proprietary, advanced techniques in obtaining co-crystal structures in complex with leads via co-crystallization or soaking method. The electron density map of ligands in a complex structure will be well refined in order to precisely determine the position of all atoms. GenScript can screen commercially available fragment libraries using X-ray crystallography, collect high-resolution synchrotron datasets and determine exact binding mode of the fragments to your protein target.

High Purity Protein Preparation

GenScript has developed advanced purification platform to provide protein samples of "crystallographic grade" purity. Fragment-based Crystallographic Screening

Fragment-based drug discovery (FBDD) is a new paradigm in drug discovery that utilizes small molecules fragments from larger molecules. It is a faster, cheaper, smarter way for drug discovery. We can screen commercially available fragment libraries using X-ray crystallography, collect high-resolution synchrotron datasets and determine exact binding mode of the fragments to your protein target.

Crystallization and Structure Determination
