PISCATAWAY, N.J., Sep. 12, 2007 – International biotech company GenScript has replaced its red-cursive logo with a new symbol.
GenScript internal documents refer to the new logo as “life origin,” a name based on the combinations of green and blue and its shape as a stylized water droplet. “We feel that the water droplet symbol depicts our attitudes about life and research in a sleek and appealing way, reflecting our top-notch and original services,” says GenScript representative Dr. James Wang.
This logo, GenScript representatives claim, connects with GenScript’s stated mission of contributing to the sum of human research and medical know-how by small, consistent, and reliable acts of excellence. The logo change is not expected to be complete for a few months, though, so customers may see either or both GenScript logos on packages and other materials for some time to come.
