Goat Anti-Chicken IgY Antibody (H&L) [HRP], pAb

Synonyms Goat Anti-Chicken IgY [HRP] pAb;
Description This polyclonal antibody is highly purified from goat antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography and then conjugated to horseradish peroxidase. It reacts with chicken IgY heavy and light chains.
Host Species Goat
Antigen Species Chicken
Conjugation Peroxidase (Horseradish)
Immunogen Full-length Chicken IgY (purified)
Purification Immunoaffinity chromatography

Subclass Goat IgG
Concentration 1 mg/ml, lyophilized with PBS, pH 7.4, containing 1% BSA and 0.01% thimerosal.
Reconstitution Reconstitute the lyophilized product with deionized water (or equivalent) to make antibody concentration of 1 mg/ml.
Species Reactivity Chicken
Storage The antibody is stable in lyophilized form if stored at -20°C or below. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for 2-3 weeks at 2-8°C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.

GenScript Goat Anti-Chicken IgY (H&L) [HRP] is suitable for immunoblotting (western and dot blots), ELISA, immunoperoxidase electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry, and other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency.
The investigator must determine the ideal working concentration for each specific application. The ideal working concentration must take into account such factors as secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, sensitivity of the detection method, temperature, and the length of the incubations. The suitability of this antibody for applications other than those listed below has not been determined. The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points for this product.
ELISA: 1:10,000-1:30,000
Western blot: 1:1,000-1:20,000
Other applications: user-optimized
