Ovalbumin (OVA) is used in variety of laboratories products which contain OVA as a carrier protein. To raise antibodies against small non-immunogenic molecules, called haptens, it is often necessary to couple them to carrier protein, such as OVA. This antibody is a good reagent that may be used for the development of detection assay in ELISA or western blot to test the remaining OVA for clinical products in vivo or research products in vitro.
