Calreticulin Antibody, pAb, Rabbit

*This product has been discontinued!*
Calreticulin is a multifunctional protein that serves as a major Ca2+-binding protein in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum. It binds to the synthetic peptide KLGFFKR, which is almost identical to an amino acid sequence in the DNA-binding domain of nuclear receptors. The amino terminus of calreticulin interacts with the DNA-binding domain of the glucocorticoid receptor and prevents the receptor from binding to its specific glucocorticoid response element. Calreticulin also serves as a recognition and clearance ligand by activating the internalization receptor LRP1 on the responding phagocyte cell surface.GenScript Rabbit Anti-Calreticulin Polyclonal Antibody is developed in rabbit using a KLH-coupled synthetic peptide from C-terminal of human Calreticulin (Swiss Prot: P27797).
