Anti-Adalimumab Antibody (15C7), MAb, Mouse

Standard curve of Adalimumab Sandwich ELISA. The Adalimumab Sandwich ELISA assay is developed by using Anti-Adalimumab Antibody (15C7), mAb, Mouse (GenScript, A01954-40) and Anti-Adalimumab Antibody (3C2) [Biotin], mAb, Mouse (GenScript, A01956-40) as capture and detection antibody, respectively.
The sensitivity of detecting Rituximab is about 300 pg/ml.

Synonyms Mouse monoclonal to Humira
Description Adalimumab, sold under the trade name Humira among others, is a medication used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, chronic psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Adalimumab is a TNF-inhibiting, anti-inflammatory, biologic medication. It binds to tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFα), which normally binds to TNFα receptors, leading to the inflammatory response of autoimmune diseases. By binding to TNFα, adalimumab reduces this inflammatory response. Because TNFα is also part of the immune system, which protects the body from infection, treatment with adalimumab may increase the risk of infections.

Specificity The product is specific for Adalimumab. The antibody is recommended as a capture antibody in a pharmacokinetic (PK) bridging assay with detection antibody GenScript, A01956-40, Anti- Adalimumab Antibody (3C2) [Biotin], mAb, Mouse.
Storage The lyophilized product remains stable up to 1 year at -20 °C from date of receipt. Upon reconstitution, it can be stored for 2-3 weeks at 2-8 °C or for up to 12 months at -20 °C or below. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Note GenScript can customize this product per customer's request including product size, buffer components, etc.

Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by the investigators. The appropriate concentration may be affected by secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, the sensitivity of the method of detection, temperature, the length of the incubations, and other factors. The suitability of this antibody for applications other than those listed below has not been determined. The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points for this product.

ELISA: 0.001-0.1 μg/ml
