Mouse IgM antibody recognizes the mu chain of the Mouse IgM. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Biotin, anti-Rabbit Serum, Mouse IgM and Mouse Serum. No reaction was observed against Mouse IgA or Mouse IgG. ELISA was used to confirm minimal cross reactivity against other mouse heavy or light chain isotypes. Anti-Mouse IgM antibody is ideal with investigators involved in serum component protein research.

Specificity	Anti-MOUSE IgM (H&L) (RABBIT) Antibody is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Rabbit Serum and Mouse IgM. No reaction was observed against Mouse IgG F(c). Some light chain cross reactivity may occur against Mouse IgG.
