A graphical method to determine limiting anisotropy or limiting polarization; a display of the reciprocal of polarization against the ratio of absolute temperature to viscosity. The anisotropy or polarization is measured at increasing viscosities (effected by the addition of a solute such as sucrose or glycerol) or decreasing temperatures and extrapolated to absolute zero or infinite viscosity.
