GeneRIFs: Gene References Into Functions What's a GeneRIF?
The following Vmn1r63 gene cDNA ORF clone sequences were retrieved from the NCBI Reference Sequence Database (RefSeq). These sequences represent the protein coding region of the Vmn1r63 cDNA ORF which is encoded by the open reading frame (ORF) sequence. ORF sequences can be delivered in our standard vector, pcDNA3.1+/C-(K)DYK or the vector of your choice as an expression/transfection-ready ORF clone. Not the clone you want? Comment | Comment: VALIDATED REFSEQ: This record has undergone validation or preliminary review. The reference sequence was derived from AF324866.1. On Dec 13, 2007 this sequence version replaced XM_001472636.1. Sequence Note: An upstream AUG was not annotated as the start codon. Though an uAUG has moderate Kozak signal strength, the annotated dAUG has a stronger Kozak signal and maintains an N-terminal aa sequence that is identical to many other mouse vomeronasal receptor proteins. For example, aa 1-23 of the annotated protein are identical to those of Vmn1r58, Vmn1r60, and Vnm1r61 whereas the uAUG encodes eleven additional aa that are not conserved at the N-terminus of any mouse vomeronasal receptor protein. ##Evidence-Data-START## Transcript exon combination :: AF324866.1 [ECO:0000332] ##Evidence-Data-END## ##RefSeq-Attributes-START## CDS uses downstream in-frame AUG :: upstream AUG and CDS extension is not conserved ##RefSeq-Attributes-END## |
