The complete coding sequence of a BDIX rat gene homologous to the human ABO gene was determined. It had strong UDP-GalNAc:Fucalpha1,2GalalphaGalNAc transferase activity and a small UDP-Gal:Fucalpha1,2GalalphaGal transferase activity.
