CHO-K1/CD32C 13Gln Stable Cell Line

Figure 1: FACS analysis of cell surface expression of CD32C 13Gln on CHO-K1 cells. The CHO-K1/CD32C 13Gln cells (blue) and the negative control CHO-K1 cells (red) were stained with APC Mouse Anti-Human CD32 (Cat. No. 559769, BD Biosciences).

CHO-K1/CD32C 13Gln Stable Cell Line

Recombinant CHO-K1 cells stably overexpress Homo sapiens cell-type natural killer cells Fc gamma receptor IIc1 (FcγRIIc / CD32C) on the cell surface. The surface expression of FcγRIIc is validated by FACS analysis. This stable cell line is recommended for evaluating the binding affinity between FcγRIIc and Fc region of antibodies, Fc fusion proteins, or antibody-based biologics.

Background
Gene Synonyms CD32; FCG2; CD32C; CDW32; IGFR2; FCRIIC
Background Human studies suggest expression of CD32C could help predict patient responses to vaccines. CD32C normally contains a termination codon, but 7%–15% of individuals carry a mutation that changes it into a full-length open reading frame. Individuals with this variant expressed CD32C on B cells and were more likely to respond to an anthrax vaccine than patients that did not express the variant. Individuals with the full-length CD32C variant also were more likely to develop the autoimmune disease systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) than those without the variant.
