SAMs Peptide

Description SAMs Peptide is a modified version of the sequence around the AMPK target site in rat acetyl-CoA carboxylase. It is widely used as a substrate for AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). Phosphorylated rapidly by AMPK, SAMs Peptide is more specific for the kinase than acetyl CoA carboxylase itself, and provides a convenient and sensitive assay for AMPK.
