Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Peptide (35-55), mouse, rat

Synonyms MOG(35-55)
Description Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) is found exclusively in the CNS, where it is localized on the surface of myelin and oligodendrocyte cytoplasmic membranes and has been implicated as an important autoantigen in multiple sclerosis (MS). This peptide induces severe chronic experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in transgenic mice.
Cas No 163913-87-9
Molecular Formula C118H177N35O29S1
Molecular Weight 2581.98

Purity 95%
Solubility Recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized MOG in sterile 18 MΩ-cm H2O of not less than 100 µg/ml. This solution can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Storage Store at -20°C.
