Mastoparan

Description The Mastoparan originally isolated from the wasp venom of Vespula lewisii, can stimulates release of prolactin from cultured rat anterior pituitary cells. Mastoparan stimulation of prolactin secretion was dose-dependent, time-dependent, reversible and required the presence of calcium.
