The AmMag™ Quatro 1100 is a fully automated purification system designed for small-scale extraction of high-quality, transfection-grade plasmids from E. coli. The system consists of an automation module and a system controller.

Overview
The working principle of AmMag™ Quatro 1100 is based on alkaline lysis and magnetic bead purification methodology to achieve automated plasmid extraction.

Quatro 1100 workflow Step 1. After centrifuging the culture in the 48-well plate, discard the supernatant, empty the waste liquid and tips from the machine, and proceed to purification.
Step 2. The automated process involves precipitation, resuspension, lysis, neutralization, pre-clarification, plasmid DNA binding, optional endotoxin removal, washing, and elution.
Step 3. Purified plasmid DNA can be collected in a 96-well plate and transferred to EP tubes using the pipetting function if necessary.
