| Expression System | HEK293 | ||||
| Theoretical Molecular Weight | 23.9 kDa | ||||
| Apparent Molecular Weight | Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 28-35 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result. | ||||
| Formulation | Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). | ||||
| Reconstitution | Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. | ||||
| Storage & Stability | Upon receiving, the product remains stable for 6 months at -20℃ or below. Upon reconstitution, the product should be stable for 3 months at -80℃. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
JAM-A, His, Mouse on Bis-Tris PAGE under reduced condition. The purity is greater than 95%. »
| Target Background | junctional adhesion molecule A (JAM-A), a cell adhesion molecule, is highly elevated in human GBM cancer stem cells and predicts poor patient prognosis. While JAM-A is also highly expressed in other cells in the tumor microenvironment, specifically microglia and macrophages,JAM-A functions to suppress pathogenic microglial activation in the female tumor microenvironment, highlighting an emerging role for sex differences in the GBM microenvironment and suggesting that sex differences extend beyond previously reported tumor cell-intrinsic differences. |
| Synonyms | JAM-A; JAM-1; CD321; JAM; JCAM; JCAM1; KAT; PAM-1; F11 receptor; F11R; PAM-1KAT |
