Figure 1. The performance of AmMag™ Quatro ProAb 1300 Automated Purification System is consistent with that of the manual magnetic bead purification method.
Take 30 mL of the fermentation broth of CHO cells overexpressing Anti-E2 hIgG, and use the Biolayer Interferometry (BLI) method to determine that the antibody titer is 923.3 μg/mL. Take 2 mL of GenScript Protein A Magnetic Beads (Cat# L00695), and use the AmMag™ Quatro ProAb 1300 Automated Purification System and the manual magnetic bead method respectively to purify the samples. Subsequently, conduct detection on the recovery rate, protein purity (SEC-HPLC), and binding activity of the purified antibodies.
The results show that the recovery rates and purities (both > 95%) of the two purification methods are consistent, and the activities are both comparable to those of the positive control samples.
PC: Positive control (sample purified by the protein purification media); GS-1300: Sample purified by GenScript AmMag™ Quatro 1300; GS-Manual: Sample purified by the manual method using GenScript magnetic beads (Cat# L00695).
