What Is GenScript LSRG?

The GenScript Life Science Research Grant (GenScript LSRG) is the global initiative for life science innovation,
providing $1.5 million in annual funding to support researchers shaping the future of life science.

Many promising ideas face real challenges, not because they lack merit, but because researchers
may have limited access to funding, infrastructure, and the right scientific ecosystem.

By combining funding, scientific expertise, and global ecosystem access, GenScript LSRG helps
ideas develop, scale, and move toward real-world impact whether you're advancing AI-powered drug discovery,
antibody engineering, cell and gene therapies, vaccines, diagnostics, biologics
, or other research areas.

Up to $50k

Supports emerging innovators who are establishing their path and shaping the next generation of scientific progress.​ The Rising Star Grant is designed for researchers and innovators at earlier stages of their career or new directions of their work, those building momentum and bringing fresh perspectives to life science.

Frontier Grant

Up to $100k

Designed for innovators applying artificial intelligence to accelerate the discovery and development of new therapeutics. The AI Drug Discovery Frontier Grant supports innovators that use AI, machine learning, computational modeling, or data-driven platforms to advance key stages of drug discovery.

Spark Pitch Grant

Up to $10k

A fast-track opportunity for early breakthrough concepts ready to be discovered. The Spark Pitch Grant supports university, biotech, and investor-facing innovators with high-potential ideas at an early stage. Through a pitch-based format and streamlined review, this award provides seed funding and visibility to help promising concepts take their first step toward validation, development, and future funding opportunities.
