| Product Description | Recombinant HEK293 cells stably overexpress human G protein subunit alpha 15 (Gα15) in the cytoplasm. This protein enables G protein - coupled receptor binding activity and acts upstream of or within with a positive effect on calcium - mediated signaling. |

| Stability | Stable through more than 16 passages with no significant changes in assay performance or expression profile. |
| Size | Two vials of frozen cells (>1×106 per vial in 1 mL). |
| Storage | Store cells in liquid nitrogen immediately upon receipt. Thaw and recover cells within one year from the date received. |

Figure 1. Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP)-induced stimulation of intracellular calcium mobilization in HEK293/Gα15/VPAC2 cell pool. The cell pool was generated by transient transfection of VPAC2 plasmid on HEK293/Gα15 cells. Then cell pool were loaded with Calcium-4 prior to being stimulated with VAPC2 receptor’s agonist VIP. The intracellular calcium change was measured by FLIPR (Molecular Devices).
