GeneRIFs: Gene References Into Functions What's a GeneRIF?
Results show that lysozyme (LYSO) - induced Staphylococcus aureus bacteriostasis increased with increasing concentrations of baicalin, and that baicalin binding to LYSO synergistically increased the antibacterial activity of LYSO.
Title: Baicalin promotes the bacteriostatic activity of lysozyme on S. aureus in mammary glands and neutrophilic granulocytes in mice.
These observations demonstrate that phagocytosis and lysozyme-based cell wall degradation of S. aureus are functionally coupled to NLRP3 inflammasome activation and IL-1beta secretion.
Title: Staphylococcus aureus evades lysozyme-based peptidoglycan digestion that links phagocytosis, inflammasome activation, and IL-1beta secretion.
These observations demonstrate that phagocytosis and lysozyme-based cell wall degradation of S. aureus are functionally coupled to NLRP3 inflammasome activation and IL-1beta secretion.
Title: Inflammasome activation: how macrophages watch what they eat.
The following Lyz1 gene cDNA ORF clone sequences were retrieved from the NCBI Reference Sequence Database (RefSeq). These sequences represent the protein coding region of the Lyz1 cDNA ORF which is encoded by the open reading frame (ORF) sequence. ORF sequences can be delivered in our standard vector, pcDNA3.1+/C-(K)DYK or the vector of your choice as an expression/transfection-ready ORF clone. Not the clone you want?
